I’m Valencia Joy—an educator by day and a crochet artist by night. Life is a beautiful whirlwind as a wife and mama to my three wonderful children.

I began crocheting as a simple way to unwind but it quickly blossomed into a true passion when I saw the joy that it not only brought myself, but to others as well. Seeing my creations bring happiness to others is the heart of why I do what I do.

Every piece starts with an idea—a single strand of yarn, looped and intertwined with love.

Through double crochets, slip stitches, magic rings, and increases, something truly special takes shape. Each creation is infused with care, ready to wrap you in the same warmth and joy that filled every stitch.

This organization aspires to cultivate an educational nonprofit that serves low-income students of color by providing artistic and literary after school programs within underfunded public K-12 schools.
